I went to visit my sister in my old hometown. Kingsville has that feel of going back in time. Walking into Vern's is like Cheers, wherever knows your name. The service was great and friendly. The clubhouse my sister had and the chicken burger I had were juicy and tasty. We should have split the order of fries as she had to take half her meal home. Try to grab a window seat to watch the locals stroll by and go about their businesses.

Today we spent the day in Kingsville ont. We walked the shops and talked with the locals for lunch/dinner. We decided to go to Vernon’s. we had the homemade meatloaf and pickerel and fries. The restaurant was very clean and ready for Christmas. We ordered and the food was fast and very hot! It was Amazing! The fish was done to perfection and lots of hot fries! The fries were large not the broken little bits you get at other places, these were long chips and crispy! The Meatloaf was tasty and the mashed potatoes were fresh and not gummy. What a great meal. We talked with the staff which were friendly, very down home. Stop in if you looking for a very good home made dinner. You will not go away hungry.
Ask for Cody best server. I recommend the panzarati. And or k ville burger. Salad is amazing also

Great food most of the time, service is quick so you don't wait around for a while, low-cost so you can bring your family or a date and not pay too much, atmosphere is pretty good, can improve in some spots.
Best seafood chowder I have had in a long time. Definitely worth the drive from Windsor to Kingsville. Our server was funny, quick and kept our drinks full. Will be returning.
